  • I also recommend buying a well made wrist brace that includes a thumb spica. That will support your jammed thumb and keep it from moving. This will help you heal faster.


Recovery from a Jammed Thumb

  • Recovering requires a lot of rest for your jammed thumb.
  • After several weeks, you should be back to normal.
  • As always, see a doctor for any concerns you might have while healing.
  • Always apply an ice pack to a jammed thumb for the most immediate relief. This is also true for other injuries to the hand, wrist, fingers, and thumb.
